The Sunday Jam
Whiskey’s Jam BandFor more than 25 years, Sunday music has been part of the tradition at Whiskey’s. Formerly known as the Nashville Mafia House Band, the Whiskey’s Jam Band carries that tradition forward every Sunday, regularly joined on stage by special guests.
And the music doesn’t stop on Sundays. Whiskey’s brings live music to Front Beach Road every weekend, along with Bike Week, Veterans Memorial celebrations, Saltwater Revival events, national and regional touring artists, and special concert series throughout the year.

From the Y Bar to Whiskey's
The Arnold family opened a tavern where State Road 79 met Front Beach Road. Locals called it the Y Bar, and the music never stopped.
Jerry Skeen made it a honky-tonk with the Sunday jam, where anyone could walk up and play. John A. Hobbs of the Nashville Palace sent Opry stars down the highway to the Y. Troy Syfrett took over in 2009 and renamed it Whiskey's Saloon. New owners upgraded the stages in 2025.
